1. What is the Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DOccMed)?
The Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DOccMed) is a qualification offered by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) for doctors who wish to demonstrate competence in occupational medicine at a generalist level.
It is designed for medical practitioners and combines:
- Approved occupational medicine training
- A written MCQ examination
- Portfolio assessment

2. Does the DOccMed provide specialist accreditation?
No.
The DOccMed is not a specialist professional examination and does not lead to specialist accreditation with the General Medical Council (GMC).

3. Who is eligible to take the DOccMed?
